Hyundai lemon law

Hyundai Motor Group is recalling over 92,000 Hyundai and Kia models because a transmission oil pump could short-circuit and cause fire.

The recall includes the following sedans, SUVs and hatchbacks:

2023 Hyundai Elantra
• 2023 Hyundai Kona (not Electric)
• 2023-2024 Hyundai Palisade
2023 Hyundai Sonata
• 2023 Hyundai Tucson
• 2023-2024 Kia Seltos
2023 Kia Soul
2023 Kia Sportage

Hyundai and Kia are recommending consumers park affected vehicles outside as a precaution. The manufacturers will contact owners and leasers of the affected models to install a replacement pump free of charge at local dealerships. In addition, they will as reimburse expenses related to this recall. You can also check the NHTSA website with your VIN number to find out if there are any pending recalls on your vehicle.
