
Lisa Bei (Qiuyu Bei) is a post-bar law clerk at Joseph Kaufman & Associates.
Lisa graduated in the top 10% of her class from LMU Loyola Law School in 2026. During law school, she gained litigation experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides, spending her first summer working on employment litigation and her second summer on corporate bankruptcy in Delaware.
Before law school, Lisa built a diverse professional background spanning the gaming and entertainment industry, language education, and international affairs. She worked as an entertainment manager in Macau’s gaming industry and previously served as an interpreter for the Office of China Affairs at the University of Maryland. She also worked as a Mandarin tutor for expatriates and diplomats in China.
Lisa is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit honor society, whose core principles include service to others. During college, she volunteered at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Tianjin, where she assisted representatives from small island countries in their petitions for allowances.
Lisa joined Joseph Kaufman & Associates as a part-time law clerk in Spring 2026, and returned to the firm after graduation to continue advocating for consumers.
