Chevy Bolt Lemon Law

General Motors, LLC is issuing a service update for 2020 – 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV and 2022 Bolt EUV models because a faulty powertrain control module reprogramming might reset the internal mileage counter and limit the battery charge limit to 80%.

Owners and lessors of these vehicles will be notified about service update N23432430 and the issue will be fixed free of charge by their dealership. An authorized EV technician will reprogram the affected EV powertrain control module, bringing back the battery charge limit to 100%. This service update will last until April 30th, 2026.

If you’ve purchased or leased a 2020 – 2022 Chevy Bolt that has been impacted by the rampant battery defect issues, Joseph Kaufman and Associates can help you file a lemon claim seeking a repurchase or cash settlement.

Our team brings unparalleled experience and has recovered over $100 million on behalf of consumers and vehicle owners like you.
