Ford lemon law help

If you own or lease a 2005-2019 Ford F-250 or F-350 vehicle you might be receiving a notice regarding a class action lawsuit called “William Lessin v. Ford Motor Company”.On June 10, 2019, this lawsuit was filed against Ford Motor Company as many of Ford’s F-250 and F-350 vehicles suffer from violent shaking known as the “death wobble”. This concern is caused by defects with the suspension and/or steering linkage-systems. The “death wobble” is primarily triggered at higher speeds and is often felt with even the slightest imperfections in the road. Once the shaking occurs it tends to get worse and seems to only be remedied by drastically decreasing speed.

This defect has resulted in more than 1,400 related complaints submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”). Ford has made numerous attempts to try to repair the defect through its issuance of Technical Service Bulletins (“TSBs”), such as TSB #18-2268, TSB #07-10-10, and TSB # 11-6-14. However, even after taking the vehicle in for repairs, many consumers are still left with the vehicle continuing to violently shake.

Even though a class action has been filed related to the Ford “death wobble”, you still have individual lemon law rights that in most cases are far stronger than the class action remedies. You have the option to “opt-out” and pursue your own suit.
