Lemon Law Aid has observed a recent increase in Chrysler Pacifica lemon law cases and we urge Chrysler Pacifica owners to take these issues seriously.

The most concerning problem we are seeing is the engine shutting off suddenly on the road which can result in accidents. According to complaints filed with the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Association), the stalling or loss of power concern is often but not always related to clunking noises while driving. Several of our clients have reported complete power loss and steering lock while driving on freeways. Customers have reported that Chrysler dealerships have been unable to repair these issues in a reasonable number of attempts even though Chrysler is aware of the problem. While Chrysler has recalled 150,000 2017 models to upgrade their engine software, a similar problem is now impacting 2018 models.

California’s lemon law is designed to protect consumers by requiring car companies to promptly repurchase or replace vehicles that suffer from warranty defects that cannot be fixed in a reasonable number of repair attempts. If your Chrysler Pacifica starts making noises, loses power, or the check engine light comes on, contact us right away before the problem escalates into a more dangerous situation.
